Privacy Policy

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or third-party embeds. There is nothing to log in to and no form to fill in. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share personal data with anyone for their own purposes.

Two things are unavoidable: our hosting provider records standard server logs when your browser requests a page, and if you choose to email us, we have your email. Both are described below.

It covers the website at educatoo.com and email you send to the address below. Educatoo LLC is the company responsible for that data — a US limited liability company, at the address at the end of this page.

It does not cover our products. The Movno app collects data this website does not — accounts, learning activity, purchases — so it is covered by a separate privacy policy of its own rather than by this one. You will find that policy on the Movno website and linked from the app's App Store and Google Play listings.

Server logs. This site runs on infrastructure operated by Railway, our hosting provider. Like every web server, it records the requests it receives: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser and operating system your browser reports. We use these logs to keep the site running and to investigate errors and abuse. They are not used to identify you or to track you between visits, and they are not combined with any other data. Railway retains them for a limited period on our behalf and deletes them on its own schedule.

Email. If you write to us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. Our mail is hosted by Proton AG in Switzerland. We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for the matter it concerns, and delete it after that. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else — we will not add you to a mailing list.

We do not set cookies or use local storage on this site. We do not run analytics, advertising or session-recording scripts. We do not embed third-party content that would let another company observe your visit — the fonts and stylesheets this page uses are served from this domain rather than from a content delivery network. There are no user accounts, so there is nothing for us to hold beyond what is described above.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We disclose data only to the service providers named above, who process it on our instructions to run the site and our email, or where the law requires it.

Educatoo LLC is established in the United States and that is where to write to us. Your data is stored on our providers' infrastructure: email with Proton in Switzerland, and server logs with Railway, a US company that operates data centres in several countries.

Educatoo LLC is run remotely, so that email and those logs may be read from whichever country the company is being run from at the time. Wherever that is, the data is handled the way this policy describes and Educatoo LLC stays responsible for it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, or to receive a copy. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR; residents of California and several other US states have comparable rights under their own laws, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

Email us and we will act on your request. In practice we hold very little: unless you have written to us, server logs are all there is, and they are not linked to your name. You may also complain to your local data protection authority if you think we have handled your data badly.

This website is a company website aimed at a general adult audience. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

If we change how this site handles personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. The date is the honest signal of when this was last true.
